Tala was founded in 2015 by Josh, Max and William—three friends from Edinburgh University who believed great design was the fastest way to a low-carbon world.

Now headquartered in London, our teams push the boundaries of design and technology to create exceptional, low-carbon lighting. We are proud to create lights that are gentle on the planet, make homes look great, and make life feel brighter.

Sustainability

Our products, from design to disposal, are created with sustainability in mind, pushing the industry towards a low-carbon future. We use high-quality, recyclable materials like aluminium and hardwoods, ensuring longevity and reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Design-Led Innovation

Our LED bulbs are designed for performance, featuring low energy consumption and a long lifespan. We are pioneers in generating light that is beneficial to health and well-being, specialising in high CRI, low flicker, and Dim-to-Warm light bulbs that mimic natural sunlight throughout the day.

Community + Collaboration

We work with like-minded partners to innovate and improve our sustainable lighting solutions. We have a showroom in London where we offer free design consultations, and our community of Tala Professionals continues to grow with Architects and Designers across the world.
