LIGHTS ON: TALA AT RINASCENTE MILANO

This April, Tala takes the stage at Rinascente Milano Duomo, the heart of Milan’s luxury design scene. Coinciding with Salone del Mobile, the world’s most influential design fair, our month-long pop-up brings the beauty of sustainable lighting design to one of the most iconic department stores in the world.

Visitors will experience Sycamore, our latest chandelier collection inspired by nature, alongside a curated selection of our most celebrated portable lamps, ceiling lights, and table lamps. Set against the historic grandeur of Rinascente, this showcase bridges the past and future of design—where craftsmanship meets sustainability.

Rinascente

Founded by Ferdinando Bocconi in 1865, Rinascente is a landmark of Milan. More than just a department store, Rinascente has become a global stage for fashion and design. With multiple locations across Italy, each store represents a house of brands, offering a unique experience.

The name Rinascente, meaning "she who is reborn", indicated the rebirth that would carry into the future. Rinascente Milano Duomo lives up to its name, having revolutionized the way consumers shop for fashion and accessories.

Sycamore

"Our Sycamore Chandelier was inspired by the elegant fall of helicopter seeds, it features glass wings that gently curve over a brass frame, capturing the seed's translucent quality.

These wings are perfectly poised to gather both natural daylight and the warm evening glow from Tala's bulbs. We selected dawn and dusk colours to echo the ritualistic flights of sycamore seeds in spring and autumn, embodying the rhythm of the seasons."
