Discover Tala's range of E14 sustainable LED light bulbs, including the elegant Sphere and matte-porcelain designs, crafted to bring artistry and efficiency to smaller fittings. Dimmable, long-life, and designed to complement any E14-compatible fixture.
E14 is a small screw fitting, measuring 14mm across at the base, sometimes called a "small screw" or "candle" fitting. It's noticeably narrower than the more common E27 ("standard screw") fitting and is typically found in chandeliers, wall lights, smaller table lamps, and decorative pendant clusters. Check the base of your current bulb for "E14" printed on it, or compare the width against an E27 bulb if you have one nearby: E14 will look distinctly slimmer.
Tala's E14 LED bulbs range from 2W to 4W for decorative use (our Pygmy, Pluto, Porcelain I, Candle, and Sphere I bulbs), plus a higher-output 10W Light Engine option for technical fixtures with an internal diffuser. As with all LED bulbs, wattage is much lower than old incandescent equivalents for the same brightness, so check the incandescent equivalent listed on each product page. Lower wattage bulbs (2W to 3W) suit soft accent lighting, while 4W bulbs give a fuller glow for general use.
Yes, all Tala E14 LED bulbs are dimmable, with smooth, flicker-free dimming built in. Pair with a good quality LED-compatible or trailing-edge dimmer switch for the best results.
Tala's E14 bulbs come in 2200K (a warm, amber filament glow, found in Pygmy and tinted Pluto bulbs), 2700K (a slightly whiter soft white tone, found in Porcelain I and non-tinted Pluto), and our Dim to Warm range (2000K to 3000K, found in Candle Matte White, Sphere I E14, and the E14 Light Engine), which shifts from bright white to warm amber as you dim, just like a traditional incandescent bulb.
Yes. Our LED bulbs run for up to 30,000 hours, roughly 27 years of typical evening use, and are rated at CRI 95, meaning colours in your home render close to true daylight rather than the flat, yellow-tinged light of cheaper LEDs. We have bulbs that are hand-finished in mouth-blown borosilicate glass, a stronger, more heat-resistant material than standard glass. Tala is also a certified B Corporation, meaning our environmental and social impact is independently verified, not just self-reported.
Yes. If this isn't quite the right fit, take a look at our E27 bulbs, G9 and GU10 bulbs, or our Dim to Warm range, which shifts colour temperature as you dim.
