Tala's E27 bulbs are available in two main colour temperatures: 2200K and 2700K. A 2200K colour temperature gives a warm, amber-toned glow with a classic vintage filament look, found in bulbs like Gaia, Elva, and Lurra. A 2700K colour temperature offers a slightly whiter, "soft white" tone, used across our Porcelain and opal-finish bulbs. In general, a lower Kelvin number means warmer, cosier light, ideal for a traditional filament aesthetic, while a higher Kelvin number gives a cleaner, brighter white light.
If you want the best of both, our Dim to Warm range (the Sphere I to Sphere V bulbs) shifts colour temperature as you dim, moving from a bright 2800K at full brightness down to a warm, amber 2000K at low settings, just like a traditional incandescent bulb. It's a great choice if you want one E27 bulb to suit both everyday brightness and cosy, low-light evenings.
